The software carries out overall lighting risk assessment with details of the single risk components and according to the types of damage sources.
This will allow you to assess potential risk for structures in details and to choose the most effective protection measures among the ones suggested by technical regulations (LPS, SPD, electrical insulation, external shielding, etc.).
Risk assessment provides calculation results in graphical or numerical form.
The choice of lightning protection measures is made directly on structures, areas, lines or systems, in a simple and targeted way
It can be made automatically (using the special wizard for automatic selection of atmospheric discharge protections) or manually (selecting the type of optimization to be applied to the risk component).
You can also carry out risk assessment of economic loss (R4).
Flash by CEI automatically creates a diagram of the incoming lines of the systems with the characteristics that have been defined during risk assessment, and calculates lightning current for each conductor in the line.
In addition, you can calculate the safety distance provided for by the applicable standard (CEI EN 62305-3) and test the SPDs on the lines (CEI EN 62305-3/4) automatically and depending on the electrical characteristics of the SPDs in use and on equipment protection.
SPDs are chosen directly from a rich, user-friendly library that can be edited with new components.
The lightning collection area (direct or indirect strike) can be determined in an analytical or graphical way starting from the structure drawing.
You can start from imported DXF/DWG files, as an outline to draw the structures more quickly.
Flash by CEI automatically generates technical reports in editable RTF format, complete with all calculation results for the entire structure and by individual area, line or system.
